Moss Rock Festival Hoover Alabama

On November 5 and 6, 2016 Hoover, Alabama will be a regional focus for art, design and environmental lovers everywhere with the return of the 9th Annual MOSS ROCK FESTIVAL. This highly anticipated one-of-a-kind outdoor eco-creative festival, which in 2012 welcomed 15, 000 visitors to The Preserve in Hoover, will explore NATURE and ECO-IDEAS in the same breath with ART and DESIGN. There is something around every corner for visitors to discover at MRF. So, grab the whole family and get outside this Fall! Admission is FREE. Hours are 10am-5pm Saturday and 10a, -4pm Sunday. Visitors will Park and Ride from Regions Park on one of the many free Festival Shuttles. ARTIST ROW - Juried Artists in all media will be showcasing over 5000 Works of Art primarily inspired by or depicting nature and/or made from recycled or natural materials.. ETC.SPACES - architects, designers, landscape designers and artists will be creating "strictly design", "design/build", and "sculpture/installation" projects that will punctuate various open spaces throughout the festival site.. ECO-IDEAS - "green living", sustainability, as well as eco-friendly ideas, design, organizations and innovative products will be featured in this fun and informative outdoor district.. MOSS ROCK PRESERVE - patrons can participate in a fun geo-location game with fun prizes or take a guided hike in the 250 acre nature preserve.. CAFE BY THE WOODS - the perfect place to get great eats, drinks and treats at the festival.. CRESCENT STAGE - live music on the Village Green..
